+ Barista/Cafe Job Description

(Part-Time & 18+ years of age)

You will be responsible for:

✔︎ Greeting customers with a positive attitude

✔︎ Check-in customers with reservations

✔︎ English fluency

✔︎ Willing to not use cell-phone for personal use during shift

✔︎ Must be comfortable using technology including POS software, Square, IPads, etc

✔︎ Take reservations for walk-ins

✔︎ Take and prepare food/drink orders, including beer/wine

✔︎ Answer general questions about the cat cafe

✔︎ Have previous experience in a coffee shop with knowledge of serving specialty coffee drinks (espresso, lattes, cappuccino, etc)

✔︎ Previous retail experience is ideal

✔︎ Clean service, kitchen and restroom areas

✔︎ Must have, or able to obtain, Servsafe certifications

✔︎ Must be able to carry out physical expectations of the job including standing for long periods and lifting 50 pounds.

✔︎ Must be able to work a minimum of 15+ hours a week, including nights/weekends/holidays

+ Cat Lounge Attendant Job Description

(Part-Time & 18+ years of age)

You will be responsible for:

✔︎ LOTS of cleaning!!!

✔︎ Must enjoy being around cats AND humans

✔︎ Greeting customers and familiarizing them with the rules

✔︎ Should be comfortable using technology including IPads, online reservation system, etc

✔︎ Willing to not use cell-phone for personal use during shift

✔︎ Engaging with customers about different cats to help facilitate positive interactions and adoptions

✔︎ Cleaning litter boxes, sweeping, mopping and sanitizing cat areas routinely

✔︎ Doing loads of laundry as needed

✔︎ Proactively recognize and defuse any negative cat or human behaviors or interactions

✔︎ Maintain cats’ supply of food and water

✔︎ Assist with special events

✔︎ Must be able to carry out physical expectations of the job including lifting 50 pounds
